1950s Hand Painted Italian Compact

A compact made in Italy. The top lid is painted with a scene within gold scalloped edges. The back lid is engraved in an organic design. The compact opens at a hinge with a finger ridge. Inside, there is a powder well, sifter and a light blue puff with a mirror, the same size as the top lid following the scalloped contour of the compact.
