1950s Hand Painted Italian Compact

A compact made in Italy. The front lid is painted with a scene within silver scalloped edges. The back lid is engraved in a floral design. The compact opens at a hinge with a finger ridge. Inside, there is a mirror the same size as the top lid following the scalloped contour of the compact.
