A compact made in Italy. The top lid is painted with a portrait surrounded by stones, set on a gold, cylindrical compact. The back lid is engraved with an ornate organic design. The compact opens at a hinge with a finger ridge. Inside, there is a powder well, sifter, mirror and puff.
