Richard Hudnut Deauville Compact

A circular silver-plate compact with enamel two-tone blue, bird design on top and a repeated wavy graphic engraved on bottom. The compact opens on a hinge with a finger ridge. A handle dangles from the hinge ending with a geometric loop. Inside is a powder well with a protective paper layer reading, “Deauville Compact Powder / Refillers Obtainable / Richard Hudnut.” Opposite the powder well is a blue satin puff. A pop-out mirror sits in the middle once opened.
